Luisi Airbag SRS Bypass Resistor Fuse Canceller & Horn Cable Kit

If you are planning to replace the original steering wheel with an aftermarket one and your vehicle is equipped with an airbag, you will need an airbag resistor and a horn cable kit in order to correctly install the new steering wheel while retaining all the original functions.

When the SRS clockspring wire is disconnected from the original steering wheel airbag, the airbag warning light will illuminate on the dashboard, indicating a fault in the airbag system. The Luisi airbag resistor bypasses the system by creating a circuit using a 2.2 Ohm resistor, which disables the airbag warning light on the instrument cluster.

As the airbag is usually housed within the horn pad, you may lose the horn function when fitting an aftermarket steering wheel. The horn wiring provided in this kit allows you to retain the horn function on a racing steering wheel. As wiring configurations differ between vehicles, minor modifications may be required.
